Super different from all the other types of songs I’ve written for Definition (my church). I’m trying to write worship songs that are an honest reflection of my music, not a Hillsong spin off. Nothing against Hillsong, I love them. It’s just I want to try and write to God from my heart, not from my head. 

It may not even be a church song at all! I’m totally okay with that. It’s just been a while since i’ve written a worship song, and I think this is a good place for me to start. =]
